I have detached and reattached the thing no less than 20 times, trying to get the lamp itself tight to the base, but nothing works. We have lived with it for a while now because as long as we don't touch it, it's fine.2

      Wish it had come with a bulb..HeidiNot only does the lamp not come with the very specialized bulb required, but I cannot get said bulb from Ikea or any other physical store in the US. The box contents says "Exc. E14" which could be construed as needing that bulb, not the E12. It is quite frustrating.2
