Instructions could use improvement KatelynNice looking dresser, but the instructions could definitely use some improvement. Very hard to understand and pretty vauge and all of the hardware is all in bags as well. 3
Screw doesn't go all the way in YeongkyeongScrews for the front panel of the drawer units don’t go all the way in! So there are gaps between the front panel and the drawer part. ALL THE DRAWER UNITS have the same issue! 1
Beautiful dresserSusanPurchased this dresser in blue with matching nightstand for my teen grandson. We were all impressed with how elegant and expensive it looked. As a 75 year old woman I was able to assemble it by myself having done other IKEA dressers prior. My two tips for assembly are to first organize all the parts (I use a cupcake holder for screws and nuts etc) Secondly make sure you look at all the instruction pictures carefully to avoid errors ( location of pre drilled holes and placement of boards in the right direction is important) Overall this is a well constructed rich looking dresser for the price. My grandson loves it!5
LOVE the Look and Self Closing DrawersVictoriaHadn't had new furniture in decades and new this was it. Bedroom needed a definite refresh. Checked all the high end furniture stores and couldn't justify such ridiculous pricing, so checked IKEA. Couldn't believe how attractive this line was (especially the blue). Bought the wardrobe, nightstand and this dresser. All look and perform SO well. Hubby built, and it does take a bit of time and patience, but once its done all you're likely going to love this. Seems sturdy enough. Assisted drawers close so smoothly. They're not actual self closing, but similar principle. Highly recommend if you have a few hours to put together. Analyze the pictures in manual CAREFULLY, so you get it right.5

The directions were a bit confusing but it wasn’t too bad I’m just very disappointed that 7 inches of the drawer do not fully extend out which makes seeing and grabbing by my clothes difficult. They should disclose that in the description. 4
Great-looking dresserNoelleThe convincing wood veneer and gold handles actually make this dresser look much higher-end than other flatpack furniture I've purchased in the past. I'd never seen the string mechanism (basically a long elastic string that helps the drawers slide back in after opening) before and was concerned it would be difficult to assemble. But if you follow the instructions carefully it's absolutely doable. I was able to put it together by myself - the only difference is I used a hammer for some parts that I had trouble snapping in on my own (the little plastic clamps that guide the string, and some of the wooden pegs) Just do so carefully as to not break any of the pieces! Overall I love this piece and might buy a second one or similar piece from this series to take the load off my overstuffed closet.5
