Product details

This lamp has an opaque inner shade and a colored glass outer shade, so it provides both ambient lighting and direct light.

This lampshade in glass is mouth blown by a skilled craftsperson and therefore unique.

If you want to be able to easily change the light according to mood and needs, you can dim and switch between warm and cold light wirelessly if you complete the lamp with TRÅDFRI remote control kit. Sold separately.

Stylish lamp at a great price!NoelWe had been looking for just the right lamp for our 1960's living room. Walking through the lighting section, we happened to see the Evedal. It had just the right look we were hoping for - the lamp is solid, not wobbly, the shade is beautiful, and throws a warm glow. We love it!5
Beautiful, high end lamp at super reasonable priceJoan H.I have been salivating over this lamp for over one year, but it has always been out of stock. I started wondering if it would be discontinued. Two weeks ago when I was in the local Ikea store, surprisingly I noticed both the floor lamp and desk lamp were in stock. I grabbed one of each style, checked them out immediately. The installation for both lamps are super easy. The lamps are well made with high quality material, and workmanship. In the store, the outer glass lamp shade is smoky gray. Once they are in my house, I noticed the color actually is an elegant gray with a hint of purple hue. It looks stunning during the day. In the night, it is so beautiful using either a Daylight, or warm color light bulb. The timeless design of the lamp goes with traditional, transitional, and modern interiors. The price of both floor lamp and desk lamp are beyond reasonable. They are perfectly "at home" among our furniture/finishings of much higher price points.5

Every beauty has a mistake.Verified BuyerA quality product that looks different than its appearance. The biggest problem is very short in length. The upper glass lamp is small. When purchased with a side table, it looks incompatible. Because the side table lamp is much bigger. But it is a quality and impressive product.2

This lamp is stylish mid century modern, and the quality is top notch. The marble base weighs about 50 lbs, and there is no way it’s going to topple over. The pull string is smooth. Gorgeous design, poor quality controlSteveBeetI fell in love with this lamp from the photos. It was such a beautiful design that I justified paying a price much more than I'd normally feel comfortable spending. As the product description suggested, this could be something to hold onto for a long time. I purchased one from my local ikea store, and put it together. As I was admiring it, I noticed a chip on the rim of the dark glass globe. I took it back to my IKEA store, returned it, and decided to buy another hoping for better luck. I bought a second one and put it together, and this time there was no chip, but the brass disk on the oak pole was bent down slightly on one side and the dark glass seems to have been formed crookedly/warped. The final assembled 2nd lamp looked completely off, with the dark glass looking tilted relative to the inner white globe. It's understandable there might be imperfections in craftsman blown glass, but this looked off. I made a second trip of the day back to IKEA and have returned it. I have decided not to try my luck in getting a 3rd lamp. Very disappointed because the concept of the materials is very neat - the heavy black marble base, the oak pole, the brass hardware, the dark and light glass, but ruined by poor quality control. I really wanted to have this lamp in my home but at a $229, I have certain expectations of quality that were not met, and I don't want to spend any more time and gas on going to the store to play the game of buying and returning to get an acceptable one.1

The EVEDAL series is inspired by Scandinavian design from the mid-20th century and my goal is for them to be lamps that you want to keep your entire life, and maybe even pass down to the next generation. The most characteristic thing about it is its outer shade in colored glass which encloses the inner shining light ‒ something that I think gives the lamp a beautifully poetic look."
