Beware of Shorter European ScrewsAnonymousI like that these handles are vintage-looking from their black color, and that they feel ergonomic- despite being slightly too wide-looking. However, what my contractor father HATED when building my new kitchen was that the European screws were sized too short if one dares to use quality American maple real wood cabinets. Perhaps cheap particle board with cheap foil finishes- as these screws were intended for- are built much thinner than real American maple wood? My father struggled finding 100 screws that fit the MILLIMETER-sized holes AND that were long enough for the width of the American maple real wood cabinet doors. It was a stressful nightmare for him as he was paying workers by the hour, and there was a significant delay going to several hardware stores to find the correct sized and length screws. Otherwise, I personally like the handles even though my father, who has a PhD in structural engineering also believes that the metal is cheap and not fully intended for better quality real wood cabinets. Goodluck! They look cute, though, and are handsome if aesthetics are all that matter to you. P.S.: I took screenshots of this review so that Ikea can not pretend that my comments violate their privacy policy as they previously have done when refusing to publish any of my prior criticisms regarding other now discontinued products- that should have been recalled.
