Unacceptable QualityBarriI’m extremely disappointed with the quality.
The “finish” is basically a very thin film/sticker, and it scratches and peels off incredibly easily.
I’m buying a piece of furniture to actually use and enjoy, not something I have to constantly worry about. I feel like I have to be careful with everything I put on it or even brush against it because the finish can so easily get damaged.
I purchased several pieces from this series and spent close to $400. For this price, I find the quality completely unacceptable. I honestly can’t believe IKEA is selling a product with such a fragile finish.
Horrible Assembly, Malfunctioning Hardware, Not sturdyJulianaI typically love Ikea furniture and find it easy to assemble—not this product. No parts came labeled, the instruction manual was incredibly confusing with no written directions, and the actual product is a mess. It is completely wobbly, the mechanism that is supposed to open and close the door does not function correctly at all. Overall I would not purchase and would appreciate a refund honestly.
Kinda disappointedAnonymous reviewerSo, I drove a ways away from my nearest IKEA -because the one closest to me was out of this color; unfortunately, the IKEA in Burbank was Also out of it & I had to have it shipped. Was really excited once it was delivered & I got to assembling; it took a surprising amount of time to put it together...and I'm a little disappointed. I don't know if I should just keep it or try to exchange it (and hope the other one will be better) but, the door. The door doesn't fit well in the frame; not only did it pop out & hit me on the head -even after I'd heard it click in place, but the door drags at the bottom. It's a little off center, like it's too heavy for the "hinges" and it catches every time it's opened & closed. I have to grip the edges of the cabinet just to get it to close.
Nice color but the price is ehManuelThe face of my door came with a small chip and large faint scratch, still noticeable from my couch. The pop out door aligned nicely on one and not so much on another I purchased. Which can’t be user error there is really no way to mess up the alignment on these with predrilled holes and bare minimum steps. Which leads me to believe could be slightly cheaper for the simple hardware that comes with this
DO NOT BUYPatrickI have purchased 5 pieces of furniture from ikea in the past three weeks. The two from the Eket line are unbelievably screwy. Holes don’t line up. The door on this cabinet doesn’t line up. The eket is TERRIBLE. IF YOU ARE AT IKEA GET SOMETHING ELSE.

In Bad Quality even after a replacementXiangThe cabinet looks pretty and suits our living room very well. But the assembly and quality is a nightmare.
First time the misalignment is so bad we cannot even put the framework together. We chose to trust Ikea and had our replacement.
The next one does not improve in quality. The door has a bad misalignment and could not fully close and slaggy noise when operating.
No choice but to return it. Not suggested to buy. A big drop of Ikea image in my opinion.

Nice looksAnonymous reviewerThis cabinet looks good however mine came not with a wrong part- both long side were exactly the same and per instructions each side needed to be specifically as right and left side to mount them properly ( I got 2 right side) that’s complicated putting it together. Returning it was not the best to do as I got it as a set with the 3 cubic ones for one price. Luckily my brother who put them together it’s a handyman and was able to work it out to put it together.
