Doesn't fitKenneth W.This piece doesn't fit the two-unit Bestå TV shelf that it was sold with. The better option is to just buy two extra feet to go in the middle of the shelf.2
What is this for--PatriciaThe instructions for assembling this cabinet did NOT fully show, explain, or give steps/options on how to use this and other pieces ...1
Necessary when using legsEmilioThis hidden leg is necessary when using a BESTA in horizontal position with legs. This relieves pressure from the cabinet preventing it from arching. It comes with one wood screw. The other side attaches to the pre-built hole on the BESTA cabinet. Make sure to adjust the foot so it's leveled with the legs.5

Nothing wrong with it but...H3h3...it turns out it doesn't fit the particular piece I have, and there was no way to tell that from the website.1
Cool way to make part of your BESTÅ cabinets “float”LeeI used the BESTÅ online designer to design a large office organizer. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! This support leg can support the center of an wide cabinet and makes it look like that section has not support. It’s a easy way to customize your BESTÅ caninet’s look.4
Easy install!Wyn DBought this for a sagging IKEA TV cabinet that was long and narrow. Did the job and corrected the sagging and door alignment.5
Great featuresmarie beauI bought this month. We will wait &see5
didn't work out for my installationnadinerpBought these because I was told(by 5 IKEA agents) they wouldn't be seen under the Besta unit I purchased. I didn't want them to be seen they are ugly and didn't go with the aesthetic look I wanted. I installed them, left them for a day and then had to remove them -they are SO ugly. Instead I got the cabinet legs for the kitchens. Bonus was they can be leveled as well.1
CTgalWell constructed and would appear to provide necessary support of the large BESTA cabinet. Returned product since did not need to use the legs as support. Height of cabinet was perfect without the higher legs.5
Exactly what I neededRogerHAlthough I do think this little part should have been included in the purchase of the TV cabinet (the cabinet already had holes drilled for it) it is a necessary piece to keep the cabinet from sagging in the middle. Installation was easy (although I had to empty out my TV cabinet with all the electronics (amps, DVR, speakers, etc.) and once installed the cabinet will not sag again.5

What is steel?

Steel has unique characteristics when it is stretched and shaped since it remains strong. It provides strength to everything from skyscrapers and cars to bed frames and outdoor furniture. The steel industry is moving in the direction of more energy-efficient production and stronger steel qualities. It doesn’t lose any of its properties when recycled and today steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world.
