Really pretty, but an absolute pain to installLaurenFirst, let me say I love this shelf set now that it's installed. It is really pretty and does exactly what I wanted. That being said, this was an absolute monster to install. There are so many right angles, measurements, screws, drywall anchors, etc. that need to be maintained in order to get it up on the wall properly. I put the center line on a stud, but the rest of the brackets needed to be in drywall anchors because of the size of the shelves. I would strongly suggest measuring and marking *all* of the holes before you drill anything, make a grid on your wall if you have to. The installation is not very forgiving once you start drilling holes into the wall... Honestly, and I feel silly saying this about Ikea, it is probably worth hiring the installers. For this combination, you will need: 17 #8 1-3/4" screws 12 #8 drywall anchors Phillips screwdrivers, one for each size of screw stud finder Helpful: a laser level tape measure (I used a yardstick, too) bubble levels pencil3
Difficult to installJenniferBeware shelving distance (only 10.75") most of my books are laying flat as there is not enough room for them to stand up. The installation was very difficult.1
