Twin quilt coverFayeI like the fabric and I like the color. But this “twin” size is much larger than the twin down comforter I bought this for. Much larger! I haven’t checked but I think this cover fits my full size comforter.
So now I need to sew up the extra fabric to fit my twin comforter.
Coarse and needs ironing - don’t confuse with comforter of same lookRenaI made the mistake of feeling the comforter on display in the store; which is very soft, and thinking this duvet was the same. The fabric looks exactly the same. It’s pretty deceiving. I got the duvet home and thought the fabric felt rough but maybe just needed washing. Well, multiple washings later, still rough. Plus the edges of the sham and duvet curl up. I wouldn’t care about the look of it was comfortable but I really can’t sleep with it. Too much time passed to return.

A hole after washAmirI washed them before first use and a hole appeared in the duvet cover. The design/color is very nice but the material is very rough. I try to return them if possible.
Hole in the duvet after washingGavinI was excited to use this duvet cover, but after the first wash (following care instructions), a hole appeared in the fabric. I hadn’t even had the chance to put it on my bed yet.
When I brought it to my local IKEA and explained the situation, I was told they couldn’t exchange or return it simply because it had been washed—despite the damage clearly being a quality issue, not normal wear and tear.
I’ve shopped at IKEA for years, but this was disappointing. I understand return policies, but refusing to stand behind a product that failed on first use feels unfair.

When I laid it out on my bed (which is in front of a window that gets plenty of sunlight) it was just giving washed out gray. Beware that it won't look as nice separate from the color section in the store!
Fabric is horrible AmyI’ve had duvets from ikea for years and loved them all. This one is a gigantic step down in quality. Im not too picky about thread count or texture but this is the worst duvet I’ve ever felt. The fabric is so rough and scratchy I could hardly get to sleep. Believe the reviews that say this is scratchy.
Cute but Rough/ScratchyLuanaI love the color and look of this duvet set. Sadly, the fabric hasn’t gotten softer with time and feels rough and scratchy. I use a flat sheet as a barrier and this mostly resolves the issue for me.
Fits great, washes great, feels greatPamelaNow we have 8 duvets and covers from Ikea. 3 bedrooms in the house and 2 beds in the RV...with changes for all the house rooms. Never disappointed. In Europe we never used top sheets...these are just like we used before. Love them.
