Works just as intended CesarEasy to assemble, but I did have to get a professional to actually wire and install it to my ceiling as I’m not the most handy person. Also this fan unit is a really good bang for your buck.
amazing valueDavidthis may be one of the best values that ikea sells. it was exactly what I needed for a small bedroom with a sloping vaulted ceiling. if you have lower ceilings you probably won’t want a downrod fan, but if you do, this can’t be beat.

Surprisingly decentIanIn true IKEA fashion, they've made installing a new ceiling fan relatively easy, as long as you have a ceiling box capable of holding one up. The instructions are the standard fare, and the build quality for a fan this cheap was actually quite nice (can't go up to feel it on the showroom floor, at least, I didn't ask). I did have some wobble after install, which IKEA has prepared for with an included balancing kit.
I'm knocking off a star mainly due to the aesthetics. The singular bulb and chains detract from an otherwise modern looking fixture. I'd also wish that there was an option to go without the downrod (such as a flush-mount, ceiling "hugger" fan) - the fan hangs a little low in my room with an 8 ft ceiling.
For the price though, it moves great air, better than any pedestal fan that I have, and will work until I want to change my aesthetic. (To IKEA, there might be a market for mods to this, please make it happen)
