Doesn't fit into anythingAnonymous reviewerBought this because I was quite excited about the style, but this is a very custom product and will not fit into anything other than specific ikea vanities.
Poor manufacturing GailThis sink is a great idea but it's poorly made. I men, how do you make a one-piece porcelain sink that is not even on the bottom so that it doesn't sit properly on the vanity cabinet you have displayed with it? It's a shame Ikea doesn't allow photos with reviews, so I can't demonstrate how the uneven construction left a big gap on one side of the front edge where it is supposed to sit solidly on the vanity cabinet.
How do you make a warped porcelain sink?GailI am SO disappointed in this sink. First, the installation instructions are the absolute worst- and I have built MANY Ikea products ! When we went to install it on top of the Tannforsen cabinet ( after making sure all sides of the cabinet are completely level), we found the sink is very uneven so one side doesn't even sit on the cabinet! If I wasn't pressed for time, I would return it, but that's not an option so I have to fill up the big gap with silicone and hope it's not too noticeable.
