Though the product description says they are cotton, to me they don't feel like cotton. Feels like some kind of synthetic material. Other pot holders tend to be softer and easier to grip around the pot's handles, but these are too rigid. That said, the size is good and they do work.4

Great sizeCarolynThese are perfect pot holders. They are a great size, they are thick enough to protect your hands when grabbing a hot dish. They are not so thick that grabbing is difficult. There are loops so that you can easily hang them by the stove. They are a neutral, versatile color. They wash well and last a long time. 5
