Beautiful design, but highly misleading "combination" packaging and durability concernsJeffI wanted to love the Brimnes bed for its stylish aesthetic and functional storage, but the experience was incredibly frustrating. It is sold as a combination of separate boxes; though the self-checkout flagged missing items, an associate incorrectly insisted I had everything. I only realized they were wrong when I was almost done with assembly at home. By then, the substandard material quality made it clear this bed is unsuitable for my needs. Because of my older home's unlevel floors, the weak particleboard, or both, the wooden dowels connecting the feet to the center t-support frame broke completely through the bottom feet. I have no faith that this system will support my heavy natural latex mattress for any reasonable length of time. On uneven flooring, the storage drawers also bind and stick. I have no alternative except to return this in pieces. It is a poor design for anyone with a quality mattress or a vintage home, and the logistical headache really ruined the experience.
Disappointed DeeannWe bought this for our son when he graduated. With in a year the drawers fells apart, the mattress base slats would not stay in place and last year the bed frame just broke. I’m so disappointed in this bed and as much as I love Ikea I won’t buy furniture

Won’t go together RebeccaBought one and couldn’t get past step four because it wouldn’t tighten. Brought it to the store to see if it was something we were doing. Manager said it was definitely a malfunction so I exchanged for a new one hoping the new one would be better, but nope same issue. Returning completely. Beware when you buy this!
Great bed. Horrible assembly instructions JoseIkea needs to invest in improving their assembly instructions. How about labeling the parts like other furniture companies? I spent more time than I needed organizing the parts and trying to figure out the instructions. I gave it a 3 star because it is a great bed and my son loved it.
Perfect bed frame !JackiePlenty of space with the drawers. Love the sleek design and the drawers open and close really smoothly. The thing about IKEA products is that you have to build them yourself. So if you take your time and do a good job building it, it’s worth it !
My partner and I both share this bed frame and have not heard any noises. In fact, sometimes when I get up in the middle of the night he doesn’t even notice.

Don’t knowJuanitaI wouldn’t know what the bed is like because I never received box 1 of the 3 to put it together. When I was in the store to buy the bed, I had all 3 boxes. I took them to the delivery area because the boxes wouldn’t fit in my car. How does a box just disappear back onto the warehouse floor that is supposed to be delivered to someone who has purchased the frame?(this is what I was told by the customer service rep while on the phone) I have been trying to get this one box delivered for a month now. I am about to pack up what I have and bring it back for a refund. Very unhappy and frustrated at this point.
