Fantastic Lamp For AmbianceMatthewThis lamp is great for ambiance. Does it produce a lot of light? No. But it allows you to see better than you would in the dark. It's a lovely mood light, but don't get it as the only light in your room, or the instant you walk more than 5-10 feet away from it, you'll once again be in the dark. Not bad. Also, if you don't get the IKEA lightbulbs, you may have difficulty finding them elsewhere, as the base of the lightbulb is an E12.
second lamp to blow a fuse in my homeErikathis is the second lamp that i purchased from ikea that blew a fuse in my house. anything using an e12 bulb has caused issues. literally went to ikea yesterday to return one, picked this one up instead, and same issue. such a pain to return as well. is there any way to ship it back? super inconvenient when you don’t live nearby a store. very disappointed. don’t waste your money on this flimsy product. ikea makes better and more expensive lamps. you get what you pay for.
Nonstandard E12 Bulb LengthJohnIKEA E12 bulbs seem to be only 3 threads deep. Normal bulbs are 4 threads deep. If you screw a normal bulb into this lamp, it will bottom out in the socket, get crushed and short out the lamp. Very frustrating.

Room decorMillieIt was a gift for my son, who likes mid-century style and different styles in accessories. It was a great addition to his decor.
Cheap and flimsyGregI didn't end up even getting this thing built, as the screws stripped out before I could. Ended up throwing it in the trash. Materials are way cheaper than they should be for the cost.

Disappointed SineadIncredibly disappointed in this product. It is clear that the value of IKEA products have fallen. The instructions were unclear and parts do not fit together as described despite building and rebuilding. Materials are cheap and flimsy.
Great lamp, terrible bulbs Maryi love this lamp, but I cannot find bulbs for it to save my life :( I would 100% recommend buying the bulbs at IKEA when your order the lamp!
Be warned! 🔥AugustI recently bought this lamp not even a few weeks ago. It fit right in my budget, was pretty easy to set up, and looks very cute. But tonight, I was trying to turn the lamp on—it wouldn’t. I unscrewed the bulb, and tried a different outlet—it also didn’t work. Instead immediately when I pressed the on button, it made a little zapping sound, and the cord got really hot. There ended up being smoke on the on and off button. Maybe it was something in my house that made this happen, or maybe it was poor manufacturing. I got really lucky that my house didn’t burn down,—even though it’s possible that this isn’t IKEA’s fault—and it feels like the right thing to do is at least tell people the experience that I had.

A bit expensive, but nice for mood lightingAnonymous reviewerBought the yellow version in the as-is section at my local IKEA, and felt it was great to place in my windowless office for some nice mood lighting.
When paired with a soft light candelabra (E12) bulb, it looks great placed on a shelf.
I put it together backwards, so it might help to make sure which end is which before stripping a screw like I did.
If the lamp is placed in an elevated place, I'd suggest using it with the lid off so you get more of an "uplighter" lamp experience.
It's OkOliI enjoy the overall shape and aesthetics of the lamp, but it feels very cheap for being $18. However, I got mine from as is so I did get a hefty discount. The only other thing I dislike is the unexpectedly cool/neutral toned light which I will be changing out.
Small lampJulieI love the appearance of this little lamp. It was easy to assemble UNTIL I got to the top of the lamp. It was supposed to snap in place. It did not.
Cute But DimValriCute lamp. Unfortunately even with a 5000K bulb, the light coming thru the plastic is still a warm light. Works as a nice accent light though, and looks good on the credenza in my home office. On/off switch is in an akward location. It would work better if it were closer to the base. It's also harder to assemble than I thought it would be.

Awesome!TiarraStumbled across this light looking for another one. This light is so cute! A little difficult putting it together at first since the base was already put together, but it’s cute, color is perfect and gives off great light. Got the yellow and will be back for the beige!
