are awful and beyond frustrating. I was ready to throw these hinges and the cabinet out of the window (literally). I’m an intelligent person, can figure out most things with minimal direction/guidance, and assembled countless IKEA products with no problem. The directions need to be revised! 1
Not compatible replacement to AventosAndyThe new line of lifts (manufactured by BLUM) are not compatible with legacy cabinets with shelves, as the outermost part of the lift is too long and conflicts with the shelving. It has taken me months to source old stock for a single cabinet. Customers with 25 year warranty cabinets need a suitable lift for replacement of high-use parts like this.2
Great Hinges. Confusing Variants.AdityaThese are great hinges for horizontal doors. I've been using them for upper cabinets in my van. Very easy install, lots of adjustment. They are basically Blum Aventos hinges sold for less.
I originally got the push-to-open versions which also say they "close softly" -- this is not true. If you want soft close, get this version without the push to open devices included.5

DIsregard the negative commentsDimitarPeople whom can't figure these out should not be trusted with a screwdriver. Excellent hinges, the range of adjustability is unparalleled. You can adjust the height of the installed door (on each end to level the door), travel limit (in case door comes close to ceiling) and even how close you want the upper door end to be to the cabinet (to match the bottom end depending on the style of you handle, some push the door away from the cabinet a smidge). Hinges come with a great template for drilling holes, which works for both L and R sides. Just follow the instructions and trust the process!5
