Piece of junkKarenSo many flaws!1
Not bad for what it is. Pricey for qualityAnneTook about 3 hours to put together like all IKEA furniture. Looks good but cheaply made. Thought it should be closer to 200 than 300 for the quality.2
SO SMALL!AshleyThe new brand Storklinta is ridiculously small
The Malm brand is out
For the price I wouldn’t waste your money
I am SO incredibly dissapointed the drawers are half the size!!1
GoodJocelynSturdy spacious bigger drawers and fits more clothes. Good purchase5
Great DresserSusanEasy to assemble. Looks great and drawers glide well.5
Missing screwsJolieOrdered two dressers. Both boxes were missing screws for the drawers so we had to put whatever ill fitting screws we had in place.3
Overly obsessed with safety GrantIKEA is obsessed with the possibility that someone might open a drawer too far and tip the dresser over. They have deliberately added stops in the drawer slides that only allow a 16 inch deep drawer to open 9 inches. This means that a lot of stuff is going to get lost in the back of the drawers.
The safety mechanism prevents opening the drawers at all unless the dresser is fastened to the wall. The extra drawer stops are just something the lawyers insisted on. 3
Gourgeous and functionalBeatrizThis drawer was easy to assemble and the green color adds a whimsical feel. Fits many garments and worked perfectly in my bedroom.5
Great Maximum Storage SpaceCherylI needed a chest for my stairway closet in my bedroom that could hold king sized sheets, blankets and bath mats, all which require deep drawers. The width was very specific in order for my clothes to hang freely, and I looked in many places for options. This Storklinta 6 drawer chest fit the bill. I’m a 76 year old female who put this together by myself, and it took the day. I have assembled at least 7 other IKEA pieces before, so that gives me a base for comparison. I was disappointed to see mostly plastic cams, and even some plastic screws. This makes me wonder how it will hold up over time. The instructions were mostly clear except for drawer assembly where metal braces were included (thanks for that IKEA) that fit into two holes. However, I started with a small drawer that does not have holes, so I was afraid I was missing something. I figured it out, but it cost concern. Assembled, the chest is sleek with no wasted space, drawer pulls are built in, the drawers are very spacious.4
Love!!HannahEasy to assemble, works great. Awesome feature that locks drawers so only one can be open at a time. 5
Looks great and works wellGrahamAs a dresser it's a little small. It's perfect in a child's room or for a guest.5
Amazing DresserRolandowhen i got this dresser i saw the two boxes and was not happy because i thought id sit there all day building it, but surprisingly it didnt take that long! really easy to build it only took me around an 40 minutes for it! really sturdy and perfect for my needs.5
Great dresser for small bedroomYenaI bought this because my husband and I have a lot of tshirts that we usually fold and store. Assembly was not easy because it has 6 drawers. It took me and my husband one and half hours to complete the assembly. You have to be patient to build this piece. The drawers open smoothly, and it holds many clothes. I like the height of the drawers. The “click” sound from opening and closing the drawers is a little annoying. I can live with it. 4
Worst quality everThomasIt's astonishing they sell this. If you get the normal dresser that is vertical, it will break 100% of the time. I bought one when I moved 2 years ago, broke within 2 months. Figured it was user error and bought when I moved just now and had it professionally installed. Broke as soon as I tried to move it to a spot I liked more. Flimsy as can be, the design of barely any normal screws is insane. I moved it 2 feet and the bottom shattered on me. The backboard is flimsy and provides absolutely no support. Terrible product, terrible material. If you want to get scammed please buy this1
It's okAndreaAlot smaller than the malm. The material is easy to scratch. Not worth the cost3
Good pieceAndreaGood piece of furniture, not the quickest to put together, but I’m happy with the color and quality of the piece. I stacked 3 together and I’m adding polished nickel hardware to dress it up.5
Storage for kids roomNishantIt was very easy to make it with youtube instructions. My kid helped me through out the process and it looks amazing.5
SmallMonicaThese drawers are sooo small. The dresser is much shorter and smaller than it appears.1
not MalmBrookeI know this is supposed to be an “upgraded” version of the discontinued Malm, but I just got rid of my Malm to replace it with this one and it has significantly less drawer space. I’m really disappointed. The Malm was perfect and this is definitely not the same. I can’t fit the same amount of clothes in this one3
Shoddy Material-easily brokenRahulBackpanel broke easily when trying to move dresser, shoddy building material. I’d recommend a dresser with a solid backpanel for stability rather than a flimsy piece of cardboard2
