Broken a year after normal useTaylorWe have four of these chairs and two of them have broken on the front leg after normal use. Very poorly designed.
leg snapped offLauraChair is in a guest room, rarely used - maybe 10 days of use in the 5 years we've owned it. Leg snapped off where it joins the seat. Obviously poor design or low quality wood. Too bad, it's a pretty design but now we have to find something else to go with the Lisabo desk.
Lisabo ChairSharonUpon assembling, it became obvious that the chair should not be dragged across the floor, especially sideways or on carpeting. I put furniture sliders designed for all surfaces under the legs. No problems.

Not expensive but very expensive in a long run KatarzynaThey look good and are comfortable, and the price is very attractive. However, after 4 years of normal daily usage, 4 out of 6 chairs broke down around the same time. The 5th is in the proces of getting wiggly. If you are looking for simple, comfortable, universal chairs but just for a short time, don’t look further!

Don’t purchaseNancyI originally purchased 4 of these in 2020. The wood for the leg split on 2 of them. I bought a replacement. Within a month, the same thing happened while a family member was sitting in it.

I looked for a long time for chairs that would work with this piece, and am super excited to have found something that is not only well made solid wood, but affordable.
Not durable. Broke after 4 years or so.MiriamI am a small person...under 5ft. I have had these chairs for about 4 years or so. Today as I was finishing up my dinner...the chair leg broke and I ended up on the floor. This is not the first ikea furniture to break on me. I also had my couch leg break recently (5 year old).
Please be mindful when purchasing products from Ikea...they are not durable and can become a hazard. I will likely have to visit an orthopedic doctor to make sure everything is okay.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, practical, looks greatTarjaThis modest chair, with no padding, is well proportioned and shaped in a way that is comfortable to sit. I'm 5'7" tall.
The four chairs I ordered were delivered the next day. The driver called me when he was entering the subdivision, so I was ready for him when he pulled in and he placed the packages carefully on my garage floor. It took less than five minutes of my time. After this good experience of IKEA delivery, I'm not likely to waste time and energy hauling large things in my car in future.
I had read some reviews of the difficulty of assembling the chairs, but I had no problems. I just followed the instructions, used logic, and made sure the pieces were correctly aligned. Assembling four chairs took me about 45 minutes, including opening the packages and reading the instructions for the first chair. It was so simple that I assembled the rest of them without needing the instructions.
This chair is very sturdy, practical, and easy on the eye. I highly recommend.
