100 out of 10 - Amazing Shelving UnitAnonymous reviewerWe just completed building a three bay wide Ladmakare for our dinning room/living room area. Of all the ikea furniture we have built, this is one of the best pieces yet. It looks amazing and custom but at 1/10 the price. We used both sliding doors and inserts. Some reviews say that it is hard to build - just take the time to build one section complete and secure to the wall, then build across without securing to the wall until you are all complete. (Trick is to place the wall mounting bracket, mark the spot, take off the bracket to drill the whole and anchor and then install everything back). Also dont tighten the unit to tight to the wall at first so you can level everything across before securing. The doors and insert shelfs work great. The sliding door sections provide a large amount of hidden storage.
