So difficult to assembleEmilyI’ve put together so many pieces of ikea furniture and this is so unnecessarily difficult. The angle for putting in the screws is so awkward and the screws themselves are so easily stripped. The shelf itself is fine so far but i would absolutely not recommend buying this. Took over an hour and two people to put in 32 screws
Terrible assembly. Terrible. KatieAlmost impossible. Infuriating and painful. Better screws and an extra centimeter of space in the corners (attachment points) would make all the difference.
Easy to Assemble and Sturdy TriciaI bought two of these for my folded clothing and to organize my space. Ended up loosing the screws I’m still searching for where I put them . Luckily I was able to assemble one will be heading back to the store for another and hopefully to get replacement screws if not I have to purchase 2 more. Used a hand drill to screw in the first screws. Take your time and angle the screws correctly if you’re getting difficulty. It’s really worth it and very sturdy.
Assembling is awful YangShould’ve listened to the top reviews. The entire assembly process is too terrible to ignore even for the price. The screws don’t even fit in the hole, causing the entire piece starts to jiggle.
Sturdy and Perfect for UsDustinWe bought the Baggebo as a replacement for a towel shelf we had that barely lasted a month. We love the Baggebo, its sturdy and was easy to put together.
It's a shelfStephenThis things succeeds at being a shelf but that's the only thing good I have to say about it. If I wanted a job at IKEA, I’d apply for one. I really don't appreciate having to work for them for free just to get a basic piece of furniture together. That is partially my wife's fault for buying this crap.
To make matters worse, the hardware quality is awful. The screws strip almost immediately, and the screw inserts are so poorly machined that nothing goes in smoothly. The entire assembly process was a massive headache from start to finish. Save yourself the immense frustration—I do not recommend anyone purchase this shelf. Just buy stuff off of marketplace. It's already assembled and half priced.
DO NOT BUY: Too difficult to setupGregThe holes are too close to the shelf which makes it difficult to align the holes and screw in. Classic IKEA, pain to install.

Easy and effectiveWillWorks well, not too flimsy, and can be taken apart and put back together easily. Needs to be anchored to the wall to be sturdy sturdy but works either way and anchors are provided.
Great price, and went together wellKathrynI realize I may have been lucky with this unit, but this is my advice for assembly: don't force the screws in, if possible. Just jiggle them around to different angles with the screwdriver until they go in with little resistance. Pick a different rod to start with to see if it helps. Once you force it in, it won’t go in at any other angle, and you lose a bit of flexibility on the next hole, and the problem may casdade. Also, you must press on the metal shelves to get them to align with the holes sometimes. Only the last screw on the last vertical rail that I attached required me to use more than normal force to get it in. I might have gotten a good unit, though. I did it alone with a lot of patience, but maybe a second person would be helpful.
Functional, with some flaws KayleighThe metal the screws are made of was soft, and my screwdriver kept stripping them as I tried to get them together. The holes aren't all lined up properly on the back panel, so I had to attach it to the lowest level and not the middle one. But it fits inside of the ancient haunted wardrobe in my apartment's living room that I use as a coat closet due to not having enough closets. And so it does what it needs to do.
Easy to set upLinaThis is my second purchase of the same shelf. I like the modern design of this shelf. Bring it home and setting it up was very easy. It toke me only 20 minutes to put this shelf together. The slim design allows me to put it tight spaces to expand storage.

Believe the people who say this is difficult to assemble!DimitriosThis shelf unit isn't just difficult to assemble because of the angles and tight spacing, although that is part of it. The bigger issue is the poor quality control. After struggling with this thing for 2+ hours I finally decided to see if I could fit all the screws into the legs WITHOUT the shelves attached. Most of them went in with some effort, although I couldn't start any by hand if that gives you an idea. However, about 6 or 8 of them wouldn't screw in at all. The screw threads don't match the holes. If you are going to make something difficult to assemble then don't also provide poor quality components. This was the worst thing I have ever had the displeasure of attempting to assemble in 30+ years of buying IKEA products. I am so angry and frustrated I am not even going to waste my time returning it. It will go in the trash. Do not buy unless you are a masochist! You have been warned!
Nightmare to assembleKrishnaThe reviews about the assembly are accurate. I am halfway through assembling this shelf together and got so frustrated with these darn screws that I stopped just to write this review lol. I have put entire beds, dressers, couches etc together. I have mounted TV’s. This is the most annoying thing I’ve ever had to assemble.
Horrible to put together MeganWanted it cause it matched another shelf I own, but this was the absolute worst thing to put together ever. Scrape your knuckles trying to get the screws in, and getting the screws in is stupid hard. Don’t waste your time and money.
Stickers do not come off and look terribleGeorgieWe didn't even get as far as assembling this. One of the posts has two huge visible stickers on them and they won't come off without leaving huge chunks of sticky paper behind. I'm now going to have to drive an hour to return this piece of junk.

I am a person who enjoys assembling IKEA furniture. I currently have multiple shelves, a desk, chairs, etc from IKEA. I went to IKEA today to buy a narrow shelf that would fit in a small space between my desk and kitchen counter. This was pretty much the only option that would fit. Plus it was cheap! What a good deal, I thought. I will bring this home and assemble it in like 15 minutes and go out for dinner.
No. No. It took me almost an hour to get this done. It is very simple. Just shelves that you have to screw in! The shelves will not screw in. The screws need to be at a very specific angle and even then they might not work. Everything you have read in the other reviews about the screws is true. I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing this shelf. I am extremely frustrated and hungry. Do not make my mistake. Do not buy this.
Also one of the legs is visibly shorter than the others??? Why

So annoying to assembleMollyI have bought three of these to have in my garage and while they are great for the price, they are just so annoying to put together. The screws are sooo tiny and hard to get in at the correct angle.
