Works well for shelves in the garageJosephPurchased these and installed them with masonry screws on concrete block walls in garage. Very sturdy and work well with 1"x12" preprimed pine boards from the lumber yard. Hold up paint cans, tools and general garage items.5
Beautiful Simplicity CarterI used two brackets for a shelf board I already had because I wanted natural wood. I installed the brackets above the shelf method so they double as bookends. Another reviewer is correct that where the brackets fasten to the wall, the screw holes closest to the shelf, it’s not flush with the wall. It’s designed so you can slip another bracket behind those two screw holes. But as these two holes are on the bottom of my assembly, they don’t carry much of the weight, so it’s not a problem. The screw holes that are upper in my assembly are flush (they carry most, if not all of the weight),5

Great Bracket but...Anonymous reviewerYou better have a solvent if you want to remove the very obvious and agressive sticker on the bar below the shelf. There are strong stickers that peal off with no residue, but these are flimsy paper ones that I had to scrape off with my thumb nail and then use goo off to remove the thick adhesive left behind. You loose a star for not thinking it through, an anomaly for Ikea.4
