Brimnes 4 Drawer DresserCarynA nice smaller dresser for tight spaces. The drawers are a little shallow, but we knew that when we bought it. The opaque panel in the top drawer is a nice touch.

Drawers don’t fully openRitaThe dresser is very nice looking and not that hard to put together. The drawers are deep - the problem is they don’t fully open so you can’t even see most of what’s inside when you’re looking for something. I thought I put it together wrong but after reading reviews it seems this is the way it’s made.

It looks very nice but...SherylWe purchased 3, none of them lasted very long. To be fair, they were used by pre-teens/teens. The singular problem is the drawers. They end up having problems with both the tracks and the front face of the drawers and frames coming apart. I would not purchase again or recommend them.
DisappointedKateAs others have mentioned the drawers don’t open fully. I have the Brimnes dresser from a few years ago. It is very sturdy and has nice deep drawers so I wanted two more. And the drawers extend. I have had no issues with tipping I have read ikeas response to why the change was made and understand it is a safety precaution. It’s a poor design change regardless. They should offer replacement drawer runners to switch out if a customer chooses too. Runners that actually allow you to access the inside of your drawer with ease, the way furniture should be made. Or why not make the drawer with a safety latch inside the drawers. So that you can only open it so far and then have to manually unlatch to extend. Anything is better than this design.

JunkDrewyThis is absolute junk. Components are flimsy and cheap, and one of the drawers has already come apart due to the junky particle board used. We used to get some decent furniture at Ikea, but it seems like quality is really poor now. I also noticed that they are no longer making the cinnamon buns in house. Sad to see a favorite go down hill.
Great valueRobertI’ve had this dresser for about a month. It was easy to assemble and the quality seems good. I’ve had no issues this far. I really like the glass insert on the top drawer.
It’s Jus OkChristineThese draws don’t open all the way. The wood is a weak material where it chips easily. This dresser came extra heavy and in two separate boxes just for the wood to No Good.
New Version Cannot Open Drawer FullyLawrenceI have an older version of Brimnes that I purchased years ago. I recently purchased another one and realized the drawers cannot fully pull out like the older one. It only pulls out halfway which makes it difficult to reach items in the back of the drawer. Very disappointed in the change. I understand in making it safer but this is ridiculous.
