Good designQiaomeiWe love the design and the space it contains. But the only issue is the back panel cracked when we assembled it.
I LOVE IT DevynI absolutely love this dresser! It feels very sturdy, the drawers slide smoothly, and it has a nice weight to it, which I personally like. It also doesn’t scratch easily and feels like really good quality, especially for the price.
I will say, it took me about 3–4 hours to put together. It definitely takes PATIENCE, but it’s honestly not hard to understand as long as you focus, read the instructions carefully, and don’t try to rush through it. If you rush, you’re more likely to make a mistake.
One thing that really helped me was separating and organizing all of the screws and pieces before I started building.
I’m normally not someone who writes reviews, but I absolutely love this dresser and felt like I had to! I’d hate for someone who is interested in buying it to change their mind because of reviews from people who had trouble putting it together. Take your time, follow the instructions, and have patience. For the price, I definitely think it’s worth the money! ❤️
Beautiful hardwareAnaThe only reason why I only have it four stars is because it doesn’t feel sturdy with all the particle board. The drawers are smooth, but the particle board is what I’m not too happy about.
No, don’t do it!ConorVery poor quality and fabrication. I received two identical end pieces and it wasn’t until two hours into assembly that I discovered it. The unit comes in about 50 boards, over 100 screws/bolts/dowels. A straight up mess and a fantastic waste of time. 30minutes wait for customer services to answer my call. Waste of a day off. IKEA is lucky this thing isn’t in a dumpster by the time they come pick it up.
Hardest Assembly EverKellyThis dresser was the biggest nightmare to assemble. It took two people, three days, and eventually a task rabbit to complete this dresser. I’ve assembled quite a few IKEA dressers in my time- all pretty straightforward. Not this one…The directions skip over MANY important details such as which exact screws to utilize, which direction things need to face and much more. The actual screws and pegs were poor quality and stripped easily. Certain holes didn’t line up exactly. On top of all of this- they gave us mismatching colors; so we have a black and white dresser. Spend your money on something else or get it delivered and assembled professionally.
Great dresserAdelineThe dresser has a very great quality and looks expensive comparing to other dressers. There is plenty of room in the dresser drawers. No complaints about the dresser at all.
Poor qualityQuanOne of the pieces was broken, contacted customer service for new piece, was told it was available in store, drove an hour for them to said none in stock. Took 4 days to get a new piece, just for it to arrived broken. At this point it's getting ridiculous, I've been trying to put this dresser together since last week. Not sure how much longer it'll take to get a piece that's actually not broken.
Great!! Make sure drawer tracks are in the right place before screwing them inKatieGot this dresser a few weeks ago and I love it. The assembly was a bit frustrating because we kept mixing up the L and R drawer tracks, so I ended up using wood glue to secure those screws where I had to take the tracks off and put them back. The drawers glide nicely and won’t fall out, which was my main complaint with my old dresser that was much more expensive. The drawers aren’t perfectly straight when looking at them, but that’s just me being nitpicky and probably inherent to self-assembled furniture
Love this dresser! NicoleWe absolutely love how this set looks! The quality is better than we expected for the price, and it feels sturdy once assembled. The instructions took a little time to understand at first, but once we got the hang of them, assembly was actually pretty straightforward. Overall, it’s an excellent value and we’re really happy with the purchase. Definitely worth it!
Looks beautiful!SupriyaIt is a sturdy, good quality product. Got two dressers for the closet. . One with eight drawers and one with six. The first one took some time to assemble as there were several pieces required to put it together. The second one was a breeze. Would recommend this product.
Poor quality ShannonI have always loved IKEA and was replacing my IKEA dresser I’d had for 15 years. Unfortunately these instructions skipped steps like installing the drawer rails on both sides of the middle board, and they want you to flip it multiple times. The dowel holes are too small, the screws split the wood, and the bottom decorative board is too high so the bottom drawers don’t pull out. The hikes are in the wrong place. This needs sone serious fixes. I’m very frustrated & disappointed.
