Comfy padded seat with supportive foam, upholstered in soft, light-beige Kilanda fabric. The charming mélange effect fabric is crafted from at least 90% recycled polyester.
The upholstered seat and comfortable angle of the backrest make the chair perfect for long dinners.
The cover is easy to keep clean as it is removable and machine washable.

Not the color tone that appears online.JaniceI loved the chairs but the actual color looks black until you put it next to something black and it looks very dark brown with no grain. Online it looks dark brown with grain. When we returned the chairs we went to the showroom and saw no chairs in that color in any style as a sample. I ordered mine online but I think a chair that color should be put on display.
Form and FunctionSalvatoreVery nice looking dining room chair that has a solid feel. While fairly comfortable, note that the cushion is not very thick and some may find it a little hard feeling after some time. That being said, it does the job and looks great.
Bad Quality controlRyanThe wooden dowels didn't fit the chair piece at all. Requiring me to drill a wider hole as it was impossible to build otherwise. First time this has ever happened to me and was very frustrating. Basic quality control would have prevented this.

Broke after less than a yearSarahWe had these chairs for less than a year, and one cracked apart while I was sitting on it. I am around 150 lbs, which is around 100 pounds less than the tested weight. Do not feel that one year of use is a reasonable product lifespan. Additionally, the color of the chairs did not match the same color of ekedalen table, which it was advertised as going with at the time of purchase.
Tedious to put together Anonymous reviewerThe chairs are nice once assembled but extremely tedious to put together. The hardware that attaches the back and front takes a long time due to being able to turn the allen wrenches than a quarter turn at a time. Some of the pieces were scratched but I covered that with a wood marker. Too much effort to exchange.
