Garden hose adapter didn't workHrothgarThe "quick connect" garden hose adapter would not stay in place, and leaked even when held in place. I ended up getting a brass 3/4" GHT to 1/2 NPT swivel adapter, and (with the help of a lot of teflon thread tape) was able to get a leak-free connection.
It may be that the 1/2 NPT threading that feeds the faucet is imprecisely machined -- I had to try three different adapters before finding one that worked. The faucet itself is otherwise functional and adequate.

What is brass?
