IKEA U.S. Supports Groundbreaking Agreement on Climate Action
IKEA U.S. is proud to support the groundbreaking agreement that has led to the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. More than ever, IKEA recognizes the need to create a more sustainable future. This legislation would represent the largest investment ever to combat the climate crisis and is an important step towards achieving the United States’ climate goals. We encourage the Senate to pass this bill as soon as possible.
IKEA U.S. knows that in order to have a brighter tomorrow, changes must be made today. While more work remains to be done, this bill will provide critical tax credits and incentives to purchase rooftop solar, acquire electric vehicles, retrofit homes, increase environmental justice, and scale clean energy investment. These efforts will go a long way to advance the IKEA vision of creating a better life for the many people.
