The IKEA Business Network 2024 Back to Business New Member Sign Up Sweepstakes Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.  THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY AND WILL BE GOVERNED BY U.S. LAW.

  1. DESCRIPTION: The IKEA Business Network 2024 Back to Business New Member Sign Up Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on September 1, 2024, at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on September 30, 2024, at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.  (“Sweepstakes Period”).  Ten (10) potential Prize (as defined below) winners will be randomly drawn from all eligible Entrants.  By participating in the Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees to comply with and abide by these official rules and the decisions of IKEA US RETAIL LLC, 420 Alan Wood Road, Conshohocken, PA 19428 (“Sponsor”), which shall be final and binding in all respects.
  2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age (nineteen (19) in AL and NE), or older at time of entry, (i) are newly registered members in good standing of the IKEA Business Network during the month of September 2024 (9/1/2024 – 9/30/2024), and (ii) opted-in during the month of September 2024 (9/1/2024 – 9/30/2024) to receive marketing communications during registration of your IKEA Business Network account. You can obtain an IKEA Business Network membership free of charge by signing up for the program at https://www.ikea.com/us/en/ikea-business/network or by visiting a participating store.  Employees of Sponsor, contractors, directors and officers of Sponsor, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, and advertising, Sweepstakes agencies and all other service agencies involved with the Sweepstakes (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”) and members of the immediate family (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouse) and the household of each such employee are not eligible to participate.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.  Void where prohibited.
  3. HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES: To enter, follow one of the below methods of entry during the Sweepstakes Period:(a)            i) visit https://www.ikea.com/us/en/ikea-business/network/, ii) click “Join now”, iii) fully complete the sign up page (including but not limited to, your address, first and last name, email address), iv) opt-in to receive marketing communications during the sign up process, and v) verify your email address. Or,
    (b)  i) scan the QR code on the Sweepstakes direct mail communication if received and click “Join now” on the landing page, ii) fully complete the sign up page (including but not limited to, your address, first and last name, email address associated with your IKEA Business Network number), iii) opt-in to receive marketing communications during the sign up process, and iv) verify your email address.

    Upon completion of one of the above listed methods of entry, you shall be deemed an entrant (“Entrant”).  LIMIT: ONE (1) ENTRY PER IKEA BUSINESS NETWORK NUMBER.  Entrants may not enter more than one Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate, or illegible entry information.  Those who do not follow all these instructions or abide by these Official Rules or other instructions of Sponsor may be disqualified.  In the event more than one (1) entry is received from any one (1) IKEA Business Network number or member, the first entry processed will be considered the only valid entry received and all additional entries will be void.  Entrants may not create additional IKEA Business Network memberships for additional entries.  Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or invalid entries, which will be disqualified, or for problems of any kind, whether mechanical, human or electronic. 
  4. WINNER SELECTION: On or around October 7, 2024, Sponsor will randomly select ten (10) potential winners from among the eligible entries submitted during the Sweepstakes Period.  
  5. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION: On or before October 30, 2024, Sponsor will notify each potential winner by email to the email linked to their IKEA Business Network account.  There will be a total of ten (10) potential winners.  Potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility.  If a potential winner is found not to be eligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if the Prize notification or any Prize is returned as undeliverable, or if potential winner does not respond to the notification within 72 hours, the potential winner(s) will be disqualified.  In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternate Entrant who will also be selected randomly, even if the disqualified potential winner’s name may have been publicly announced.  Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may attempt to contact up to three (3) potential winners of a Prize in accordance with the above procedure, after which the Prize in question may go unawarded if it remains unclaimed.

    Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address, and/or telephone number of Entrants.  Should multiple users of the same e-mail account enter the Sweepstakes and a dispute thereafter arise regarding the identity of the Entrant, the authorized account holder of said e-mail account at the time of entry will be considered the Entrant.  “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
  6. PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (ARV)/ODDS: Ten (10) total Prizes will be awarded in this Sweepstakes.  Each winner will receive one (1) $500 IKEA Gift Card (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $500) (“Prize”), total ARV of all Prizes: $5,000).

    LIMIT: One Prize per IKEA Business Network member.  Prize is subject to gift card terms and conditions; see gift card for details.  Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the Prize.  Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, by Sponsor.  No returns/exchanges.  Prize is valid in IKEA US stores only.  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. All costs and expenses not set forth as part of the Prize shall be the sole responsibility of each Prize winner. The Prize items will be mailed to the verified Prize winners at the mailing address associated with their IKEA Business Network Number within approximately 6-8 weeks.  Winner must provide a physical address, no PO Boxes. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, intercepted, or Prizes otherwise not received. Sponsor may replace lost, late, intercepted or Prizes otherwise not received at its sole discretion.
  7. GENERAL: Failure to provide any requested information to verify eligibility, and/or non-compliance with these Official Rules may result in forfeiture of the Prize and an alternate winner may be selected.  Each potential Prize winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release and, where permitted by law, Publicity Release. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes should fraud, virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the game.  

    No cash equivalents, substitutions or transfer of the Prize is permitted.  If a Prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute Prize with another prize of equal or greater value.  Acceptance of a Prize shall be construed as and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor may use the winner’s name, portrait, picture, biographical information, voice, likeness, statements, photograph and/or Prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes in any and all media now known or developed in the future, throughout the world in perpetuity without further consideration, review, approval or payment, unless prohibited by law.

    By participating, Entrants and winners release and agree to hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities, their respective parent companies, affiliates, directors, employees, officers and agents from any and all liability, injury, loss or damage of any kind, including but not limited to personal injury or death, arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes, or the awarding, receipt, possession, use or misuse of any Prize and/or with respect to participation in any Prize-related activity.  Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in printing, offering, announcement or administration of the Sweepstakes.  
  8. LIMITATIONS AND RELEASES: Sponsor is not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by participants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (d) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (e) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize.  No more than the stated number of Prizes will be awarded.  Caution: Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made; Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law.  Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and all his or her entries) who tampers with the entry process.
  9. DISPUTES: By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree that any disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes, or any Prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any class action and all claims, awards and judgments shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees.  No Entrant is permitted to obtain any award for, and waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages.  Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the validity, construction, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  In addition, any dispute relating to the Sweepstakes or Official Rules shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal court having jurisdiction over the subject matter located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Entrants hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of said courts and waive any claim of forum non conveniens or lack of personal jurisdiction they may have.
  10. PRIVACY: For information about how Sponsor uses your personal information, please see our privacy policy, located at https://www.ikea.com/us/en/customer-service/privacy-policy/.  If you are selected as a winner, your information may also be included in a publicly-available winner’s list.
  11. WINNER’S LIST: For name of winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: IKEA Business Network 2024 Back to Business New Member Sign Up Sweepstakes – Winner’s List, c/o IKEA US Retail LLC located at 420 Alan Wood Road, Conshohocken, PA 19428.  Requests for a winner’s list must be received ninety (90) days after the winner of the Sweepstakes is chosen.
