IKEA GPT – Notice Concerning Your Privacy

This page describes privacy considerations when using the IKEA GPT built by IKEA North America Services, LLC (“IKEA”, “we,” “our,” or “us”).

GPTs are custom versions of ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence tool offered by OpenAI. IKEA GPT is an AI tool. The IKEA GPT is intended to assist in furniture design, such as assisting you in identifying IKEA products that may fit your space or match a desired design look or in determining whether a product is in stock or available at a certain location. We recommend that you do NOT share personal data when running searches in the IKEA GPT. IKEA does not have access to your personal data when you use the IKEA GPT.

Your use of the IKEA GPT is subject to OpenAI’s privacy policy and controls and usage policies. 

We may receive information from OpenAI about your question or prompt, which does not contain personal identifying information, and IKEA responds to the prompt. We do not keep a record of the exchange.

In response to your questions or prompts, you may be presented with hyperlinks that redirect you to an external IKEA U.S. website for more detailed product information or to make an online purchase. At that point, the IKEA U.S. Privacy Policy and IKEA U.S. website Terms and Conditions will apply.
