How do I get started with the IKEA Kitchen planner?
In the IKEA kitchen planning tool you can either start designing completely from scratch or choose existing design suggestions to help you get started.
Before you start designing your dream kitchen, we recommend Logging into your IKEA Family profile. This allows you to save your design to your profile and easily find it later if you need to take a break from designing.
When you have accessed the IKEA Kitchen planner, press 'Start designing'. The first time you will be asked to define oven location, extractor hood type, fridge/freezer preference and layout type. You can of course modify these options later if needed, or choose the option 'Design from scratch'.
Next, pick a room shape similar to your to your kitchen. After this, you can start adding products and measurements to your kitchen. Our step-by-step IKEA Kitchen planning guide is also here to help you every step of the way!
Need some extra inspiration? You can choose existing design suggestions to help you get started by navigating to ‘Choose a favourite’.
