How do rewards from IKEA Family work?

Collect points with IKEA Family to unlock a reward, then choose your preferred reward and enjoy it in stores, online or via phone.

 

1. Collect points

There are two ways how you can collect points:
  • By shopping at IKEA
You collect 1 point for every $1 on almost everything you buy. This includes home furnishing products, services, food and drinks. You do not collect points when you buy an IKEA gift card. Points will only be added after the entire shopping process has been completed.
  • By interacting with certain IKEA tools and services
Log in to the Loyalty Hub to see how you can collect points and the number of points you gain after completing each activity.

HOW DO I KEEP TRACK OF MY POINTS?

You can keep track of how many points you have by logging into the Loyalty Hub. To see how many points you have collected for a certain activity, click on the "History" button. It can take up to 48 hours for the points to appear in your profile. If 48 hours has passed and you haven't received points after shopping or interacting with the tools and services, please type "I want to talk to a human" in the chat. Alternatively, you can call 1-888-888-4532 from Monday to Sunday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM Eastern.

General terms and conditions for collecting points

  • There is no limit to how many points you can collect
  • Your points expire after 18 months if you do not use them
  • Points can only be collected in the country where your membership is registered
  • Points are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash

2. Unlock a reward

Once you have collected enough points with IKEA Family, the reward will automatically be unlocked in your profile. If a reward is shown as “unlocked”, it means you have collected enough points to be able to choose it. If a reward is “locked”, it means you need to collect more points. Log in to the Loyalty Hub to see which rewards you can already enjoy.

What type of rewards can i enjoy?

There are two different types of rewards that you can enjoy in the country where your membership is registered:
  • Product rewards. These can be used in stores, online or via phone
  • Food rewards. These can be used in stores at Swedish Restaurant, Bistro and Swedish Food Market

3. Choose your reward

  1. Log in to the Loyalty Hub via IKEA.com or IKEA App.
  2. Choose a reward from the list of unlocked rewards.
  3. Once you have made a choice, the required number of points will be deducted from your IKEA Family profile.
  4. You will then receive a unique reward code as a QR code or a 16-digit code that you can enjoy in stores, online or via phone.
To see the terms of use for each type of reward, click on the reward you want in the Loyalty Hub.

4. Enjoy your reward

Once you have chosen your reward, you can use it when you are shopping in stores, online or via phone. This is how you can use it in different touchpoints:
  • In stores
    • At checkout, identify yourself as an IKEA Family member and scan the QR code at the checkout counter
    • The discount will be applied automatically to your total before you pay
    • You can use multiple rewards from different categories for each transaction you do in stores
  • Online
    • Log in to your IKEA Family account and proceed to shop
    • During checkout, select ‘Use a discount code’ and enter your 16-digit reward code
    • The discount will be applied automatically to your total before you pay
    • You can only use one reward per transaction when you shop online
  • Via phone
    • Before finalizing your order, provide the co-worker with the 16-digit reward code you’d like to enjoy
    • The discount will be applied automatically to your total before you pay
    • You can only use one reward per transaction when you shop via phone

General terms and conditions for using rewards

  • Each reward code is unique and cannot be used more than once
  • Your reward will expire if you do not use the reward code within the next 30 days after receiving it
  • Your reward will be re-generated with the same type of reward if your order has been cancelled
  • You can exchange a reward to another type of reward if you have not used the reward code. If you'd like to change the reward you have chosen, please type "I want to talk to a human" in the chat. Alternatively, you can call 1-888-888-4532 from Monday to Sunday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM Eastern.
