A kitchen drawing created in the SEKTION kitchen planner becomes locked if you are working on it together with an IKEA co-worker, or if the order of your kitchen has already been placed.
If you want to be able to proceed with the kitchen design on your end, you can make a copy of the locked drawing and save it under a new name. This way you can make all the changes you want in the copied version.
Why is my SEKTION kitchen design locked?
Your kitchen design will become locked after your IKEA kitchen has been ordered. It might also be locked if an IKEA co-worker is currently working on it. You can create a copy of your kitchen design and continue designing with the copied version.
This is how to proceed:
- Navigate to the start page of the SEKTION kitchen planner.
- Scroll down to your designs, click on the 'Locked' tab where you will find your locked drawing.
- Press the 3 small dots to the right of your design name and click 'Duplicate'
- Save the copied design under a new name. This copy is now unlocked and can be edited.
