poor wood qualityAnnamake sure before you are 90% assembled to check the wood before. my wood piece was warped and unable to be attached to the shelving. Fortunately I was able to return.
Inconsistent & Unnecessarily Difficult AssemblyCarolineI purchased 2 and had similar issues with both. The black paint flooded the screw holes, making it incredibly difficult to screw in the screws. For both of the units I bought, there was a shelf that was slightly snug and had to be hammered in. For both units, this was the shelf with the sticker label on it, so I'm not sure if that was intentional, but it was nearly impossible to get it in its place. This should have been easy to build, but it was so difficult due to paint flooded screw holes and misaligned shelves. I wouldn't recommend unless you're willing to break a sweat over some screws.....

Beware, trouble ahead!MarkI was hopeful about this piece - it looked nice in the showroom. But halfway through construction I realized only half of the metal corner stabilization pieces were included with the product. This is THE WORST kind of professional incompetence: When a customer is faced with either finishing construction without all the pieces or going through the tremendous hassle of returning an already-built unit. Shame on you Ikea for taking your customers for granted.

Fjallbo 4-shelf unitResedaThis is my second purchase. I use both as bedside “tables” on each side of my bed. Unlike a bedside table, I can use each shelf to keep many various things like lamps, candles, books, paper tablets and some jewelry and more at arms reach. Very easy to assemble, and decent-durable material.
Great Shelf; Being PickyTiaLove this shelving unit and I love that it compliments the bigger Fjallbo shelf as well. I just wish it had the same wood shelves to match as I have mine side by side with the two-column Fjallbo.
