Cute but unusable without bulb not included or offeredJenniferI bought a set and was looking forward to them. However they don’t come with the shown bulb and ikea doesn’t offer it. They have set there unusable for 2 years. Why sell it without bulbs or offer the required bulb?
Worked one monthChristinaThe lamp is unique and beautiful but completely stopped working after one month.
Perfect lampPamThis lamp has perfect lighting to match whatever your mood is. My daughter bought one a few years ago and I always loved hers. Finally got one of my own!
Adorable lampSusanAbsolutely love it.
AdorableKeithI just love this little lamp and that it's dimmable. Perfect for my 40 year old Ikea nightstand and the Tonstad bed i recently purchased.
Amazing A++++++++KimLove, Love and Love.
Gives off just the right amounts of light. So much that I am going to get a few more in different colors for other rooms.
Excellent Table LampDanLove this. Gives off a perfect amount of light for an end table or where a small accent light is needed.
Exactly what I imaginedMoniqueWorks great in the room, really lights it up without being harsh.
The most charming light for analog vibes!KristinI love this so much, I bought 2! I also bought a couple of the mini versions and a gift! The dimming switch makes a fantastic old-timey sound and has the same feeling of an old camping lantern. The cord is fabric too-another great bonus. Get this! :)
Maybe my favorite thing from IkeaHaleyI didn't plan to buy a lamp, and I don't really just buy stuff randomly, but I saw this and immediately shoved it in my basket, and I have appreciated it on my bedside table every night for 3 years now. The light is so pleasant. The lamp itself is so pleasant. The knob is pleasant. If I break it I will not hesitate to run straight back to Ikea for a replacement. PLEASE NEVER DISCONTINUE IT IKEA. PS I have not yet needed a new bulb.
bad qualityPoornimaAfter just one day of use, the light started flickering. not sure the issue is bulb or the device.
I love everything about this lampAnonymousThis is the best vibe-setting light, I love it. The brightness is dialed easily. I never use it at full brightness, it's always about half high. There is not a hum, buzz or flicker. The bulb that you purchase separately is really nice and low lumens, and it is a nice amberish color. Often I do not like exposed bulbs with clear glass shades, but this bulb is fine. It really mimics an old-time gas lamp. It's quite elegant!
Very well made!SteveBeautiful quality and weight. Added the led bulb and it gives it a warm glow like a flame.
Color representation all wrongCathleenCute lamp, I picked the yellow because it looked like a bright yellow and it is not like the picture at all. It is an icky mustard almost gold and that is no matter what I put next to it. Very disappointed in this purchase.
Broken items MalakI bought this lamp because I absolutely loved the design — it’s so cute and looks beautiful. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the quality of the glass shade on top. It is extremely fragile, and even with a small movement it can fall off, break, and shatter into tiny pieces.
The worst part is that IKEA doesn’t sell the glass part separately, so now I have two lamps that I can’t use because the outer glass pieces are gone.
I’m really sad because I genuinely loved these lamps, but the design should have included a more secure and durable glass attachment.
Cute Accent LampBrooklynI purchased the dark yellow lamp, and it fits perfectly on my nightstand. It is dimmable amd it casts a soft light. Love it!
Frustrating purchaseMarkI was excited to finally get this lamp after purchasing it in person, only to find out after driving all the way home that the specialized bulb is not included.
I am not able to order it from the website without ordering $35 worth of items, I feel a little exploited.
Great Style but questionable quality.JoyceThe style of this little lamp is cute. However, at this price I would have expected a bulb. Also, the glass globe does not fit the clamps of the lamp. I may have to drive 60 miles to the Huntsville store and see if I can find a replacement that fits :(
So cuteSeleneThis lamp is EXACTLY as pictured. I chose to go with the yellow to brighten the space even when the lamp wasn’t in use. I almost didn’t buy this lamp due to the bulbs; the website said I had to buy it at the store but also they weren’t sure if they were in stock.
I get to the store and decide to buy it IF they have the bulbs. Guess what- they have the bulbs and I bought 3. (This lamp uses a specialized brown, 25W dimmable bulb.) Solid, perfect and well packed, right out of the box, no scratches. The directions are easy to follow. I had it assembled and plugged in in about 7-minutes, while being distracted by a YouTube video.
After three days, I love this lamp. I can’t quite decide which room will be its home but it’s beautiful in every setting thus far. Highly recommend!
Why doesn’t it come with a lightbulb?!CooperOrdered online, missed the part where it says light bulb sold separately, because It’s pictured with a lightbulb so why wouldn’t it come with lightbulb? ESPECIALLY if it takes a proprietary lightbulb! Order this lamp and a couple other things online. There is a $35 minimum on online orders so I’m now going to return the lamp because that will be cheaper than spending $35 plus shipping just to get a lightbulb.
