IKEA Family Appreciation Weekly Sweepstakes Official Sweepstakes Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR OTHERWISE RESTRICTED BY LAW. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY AND WILL BE GOVERNED BY U.S. LAW.  DO NOT ENTER IF YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE AND LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. A.  Overview:  The IKEA Family Appreciation Weekly Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins on May 22, 2026 at 12:00:01 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on May 28, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m ET (“Sweepstakes Period”). One (1) potential Prize (as defined below) Winner will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Entries received before or outside of the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible to win the stated Prize, except as otherwise set forth in these official rules (“Official Rules”). Sponsor’s clock is the official clock for the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each individual agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of IKEA US RETAIL LLC, 420 Alan Wood Road Conshohocken, PA 19428 (“Sponsor”), which shall be final and binding in all respects. 

B.  Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years old (nineteen (19) in AL and NE) or older at the time of entry, and who are members in good standing of the IKEA Family program (“Eligible Entrants”).  To register for the IKEA Family program for free visit: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/ikea-family/.  If you have misplaced your IKEA Family program card or number, visit https://www.ikea.com/us/en/ikea-family/.  Employees, contractors, directors and officers of IKEA US Retail LLC, Sponsor, participating stores, and each of their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, retailers, partners, and advertising, promotion and judging agencies and all other service agencies involved with the Sweepstakes (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”), and members of the immediate family (defined for these purposes as including spouse, parent, child, sibling and each of their respective spouses) and individuals living in the same household are not eligible to participate. By participating, participants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in the Official Rules.  

C. How to Enter.  During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible individuals may enter the Sweepstakes as follows: 
(i) click the link on IKEA.us using your personal mobile or desktop device with WIFI or other internet access; 
(ii) log into your IKEA Family account when redirected; and  
(iii) click “Submit” to enter the IKEA Family Appreciation Weekly Sweepstakes. 

 LIMIT: One entry per IKEA Family member account.  

D. Winner Selection On or about May 29, 2026, Sponsor will randomly select one (1) potential winners from among the eligible entries submitted during the Sweepstakes Period. All drawings are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.  

E. Winner Notification: Sponsor will notify each potential winner via the email associated with the IKEA Family account.  There will be a total of one (1) potential Prize winner during the Sweepstakes Period. The potential Prize winner(s) must respond to Sponsor within forty-eight (48) hours of notification or Sponsor reserves the right to select another potential Prize winner from among all eligible entries.   Potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility. If a potential winner is found not to be eligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, if the potential winner declines the Prize for any reason prior to award, or if Prize notification or any Prize is returned as undeliverable, or if potential winner cannot collect Prize within designated time, the potential winner will be disqualified.  In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternate entrant who will also be selected randomly, even if the disqualified potential winner’s name may have been publicly announced.  Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address, and/or telephone number of entrants.  If a Prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another Prize of equal or greater value.  Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may attempt to contact up to three (3) potential winners of a Prize in accordance with the above procedure, after which the Prize in question may go unawarded if it remains unclaimed. Should multiple users of the same e-mail account enter the Sweepstakes and a dispute thereafter arise regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorized account holder of said e-mail account at the time of entry will be considered the entrant.  “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.   

F. Prize: One (1) Prize will be awarded in this Sweepstakes consisting of one (1) Five Hundred dollar ($500) IKEA® physical Gift Card (collectively, the “Prize”).(collectively, the “Prize”).   

Total Approximate Retail Value of each Prize (“ARV”): $500
Total ARV of all Sweepstakes Prizes: $500 

LIMIT: One (1) Prize per IKEA Family member account. The Prizes will be mailed to each Prize winner at the mailing address provided during verification within approximately 4-6 weeks. The winner may not substitute, assign, or transfer the Prize or redeem the Prize for cash.  IKEA is not responsible for lost, late, intercepted or Prizes otherwise not received. Sponsor may replace lost, late, intercepted or Prizes otherwise not received at its sole discretion. Terms and conditions of gift cards apply; see applicable gift card for details. Unclaimed Prizes will not be awarded. Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the Prize. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, by Sponsor.  No returns/exchanges. IKEA Physical Gift Card is valid in IKEA US stores only.  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.  

G. Limitations on Liability and Release: By participating in this Sweepstakes and/or accepting a Prize, each entrant and winner releases and agrees to hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities, their respective agents, company’s officers, parent companies, affiliates, directors, and employees from any and all liability for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense of any kind,  including without limitation, personal injury, death or damage to or loss of property arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes, or the awarding, receipt, possession, use or misuse of any Prize and/or with respect to participation in any Prize-related activity, or for any cause of action based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy or Prize delivery.  Sponsor is not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures or delays in computer transmissions or network connections of any kind. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in printing, offering, announcement or administration of the Sweepstakes.  

Sponsor is not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information or transmissions, whether caused by participants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software, or failure to receive entry information or a prize by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (d) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (e) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize.  No more than the stated number of Prizes will be awarded.  Caution: Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law.  Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and all of their entries) who tampers with the entry process.  

H. Privacy: For information about how Sponsor uses your personal information, please see our privacy policy at http://www.ikea.com/us/en/customer-service/privacy-policy. If you are selected as a winner, your information may also be included in a publicly-available winner’s list. 

I. Right to Cancel: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes for any reason, including but not limited to if it is not capable of running it as planned, including for any causes beyond the control of Sponsor which affect administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds tampering with the entry process or operation of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to correct typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials.  Automated entries are prohibited, and any use of automated devices will cause disqualification. 

J. General: Failure to provide any requested information to verify eligibility, and/or non-compliance with these Official Rules may result in forfeiture of the Prize and an alternate winner may be selected.     

K. Disputes: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that any disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes, or any Prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any class action and all claims, awards and judgments shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees. No entrant is permitted to obtain any award for, and waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages. Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the validity, construction, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In addition, any dispute relating to the Sweepstakes or Official Rules shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal court having jurisdiction over the subject matter located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Entrants hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of said courts and waive any claim of forum non conveniens or lack of personal jurisdiction they may have.  

L. Winners List: For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: IKEAUS RETAIL LLC, 420 Alan Wood Road, Conshohocken, PA 19428 Attn: Marketing “IKEA Family Holiday Fun” Sweepstakes.  Requests for a winner’s list must be received thirty (30) days after the winners of the Sweepstakes are chosen.

  1. DESCRIPTION: The IKEA FY26 “Outdoor Living Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on April 30, 2026, at 12:00:01 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends May 7, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (“Sweepstakes Period”). Two (2) potential prize winners (as defined below) will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period (the pool of eligible Instagram entries). Entries received before or outside of the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible to win the stated Prize (as defined below), except as otherwise set forth in these official rules (“Official Rules”). Sponsor’s clock is the official clock for the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to comply with and abide by these official rules and the decisions of IKEA North America Services, LLC, 420 Alan Wood Road Conshohocken, PA 19428 (“Sponsor”), which shall be final and binding in all respects.
  2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are eighteen (18) years of age (nineteen (19) in AL and NE) or older at time of entry, and who have the following: a public Instagram account. Obtaining a Meta account is free of charge. To sign up for an Instagram account, download the mobile app or visit www.instagram.com. Instagram’s Terms of Use apply. Employees of Sponsor, INGKA Group, the IKEA retail stores, Meta Platforms, Inc., and each of their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, advertising and Sweepstakes agencies or other companies associated with the promotion of the Sweepstakes (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”), as well as the immediate family (defined for these purposes as including spouse, parents, children, and siblings and each of their respective spouses) and individuals living in the same household, are not eligible to participate.  By participating, participants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
  3. HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES: During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible individuals may enter the Sweepstakes as follows:
    1. Log onto either your personal Instagram account; and
      1. To enter via Instagram:
      2. First, follow @ikeausa on Instagram by searching for the @ikeausa profile on Instagram then click the “Follow” button; and
      3. Tag on the @ikeausa “Outdoor Living Sweepstakes” Instagram post (to be first published on or about April 24, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. ET), tag “@” one (1) friend using their Instagram social media handle in your comment on the post and include the hashtag “#IKEAsweepstakes” (the “Comment”). All comments must comply with the Submission Requirements set forth below. Upon submission, the individual is deemed an “entrant” for purposes of the Sweepstakes and will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. LIMIT: TWO (2) ENTRIES PER PERSON. Any comments that fail to include the required amount of “@” tagged social media account(s) or otherwise follow the instructions herein will be void and considered ineligible for the Sweepstakes.
    2. Any participant who posts after the close of the Sweepstakes Period, or who makes a Comment that is not in compliance with these Official Rules, will not be given an entry into the Sweepstakes. During the Sweepstakes Period, your Instagram account must be set to “public” and able to receive direct messages to participate. Multiple participants are not permitted to share an Instagram account.  Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different Instagram accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that participant’s entries, and that participant may be disqualified from the entire Sweepstakes.  Only one (1) post will be considered regardless of if multiple accounts you’re on different platforms attempt to comment during the Sweepstakes Period. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.  In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the Instagram account used to register will be deemed to be the entrant.  The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address or social media account by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses or social media accounts for the domain associated with the email address used to register the Instagram account.  The potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the Instagram account associated with the winning entry.  

      BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE ENTRY MAY BE USED IN AND/OR IN CONNECTION WITH SPONSOR’S ADVERTISING, INCLUDING ON ITS WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS, IN SPONSOR’S DISCRETION. Submission of an Entry grants Sponsor and its agents an unlimited, worldwide, perpetual, license and right (but not the obligation) to publish, use, and publicly display the Entry in any way, in any and all media, without limitation, and without consideration or notification to you. All entries must comply with the submission requirements set forth below (the “Submission Requirements”).
      1. MUST be viewable and accessible for at least thirty (30) days following the expiration of the Sweepstakes Period.
      2. MUST comply with terms of use and other related policies and guidelines in connection with using Instagram.
      3. MUST NOT contain material which is (or promote activities which are) dangerous, harmful, sexually explicit, obscene, pornographic, self-mutilating, discriminatory (based on race, sex, religion, natural origin, physical disability, sexual orientation or age), illegal (e.g. underage drinking, substance abuse, computer hacking, etc.), offensive, threatening, profane, or harassing.
      4. MUST NOT include any private information of a third party such as name, address, phone number or email address.
      5. MUST NOT disparage the Sponsor, or their products or services, or any other person or party affiliated with the promotion and administration of the Sweepstakes.
      6. MUST NOT include mention or performance of any copyrighted media production, including, but not limited to, music, films, books, television programming, etc., or identifying descriptions of any media property, except to the extent that such use constitutes a clear fair use, or the copyright owner has expressly consented to such use.
      7. MUST NOT contain material that violates or infringes another's rights, including, but not limited to, material that violates privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement.
      8. Entries must not include third-party trademarks, logos, insignia, location signage, photographs, artwork, sculptures, music, or images of any kind.Entry cannot promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, e-cigarettes, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any political agenda or message, or any activity which promotes excessive drinking, binge drinking, drinking beyond the legal permissible limit, etc.
      9. Entry cannot include any materials relating to lotteries or gambling.
      10. Entry cannot be obscene or offensive, endorsing any form of hate or hate group.
      11. Entry cannot communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which Sponsor wishes to associate.
      12. Sending a direct message to @ikeausa or responding to a story with a direct message is not a valid entry.
  4. WINNER SELECTION: A total of two (2) overall potential Prize winners will be randomly selected on or about May 10, 2026, from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. More specifically, two (2) potential Prize winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries made via Instagram.
  5. WINNER NOTIFICATION: On or about May 10, 2026, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received by Sponsor in accordance with these Official Rules, and the potential Prize winners will be notified by direct message (from @ikeausa) on the Instagram account associated with the applicable entry. The potential Prize winner(s) must respond to Sponsor within forty-eight (48) hours of notification or Sponsor reserves the right to select another potential Prize winner from among all eligible entries. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts, a potential winner does not respond, such potential winner will forfeit his or her Prize and an alternate winner may be announced. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may attempt to contact up to five (5) potential winners of a Prize in accordance with the above procedure, after which the Prize in question may go unawarded if it remains unclaimed. If any potential Prize winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines the Prize for any reason prior to award, such Prize will be forfeited, and an alternate Prize winner may be selected.
  6. PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (ARV)/ODDS: Two (2) Prizes – each winner will receive the following item: One (1) $400 IKEA Gift Card (each individually a “Prize”).

    Total Approximate Retail Value of all Two (2) Sweepstakes Prizes: $800.00 USD

    Odds of winning a Prize are dependent on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Unclaimed Prizes will not be awarded. The winners may not substitute, assign, or transfer the Prize or redeem the Prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the Prize with one of comparable or greater value. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes on the Prizes are the sole responsibility of the Prize winners. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, by Sponsor.  No returns/exchanges. Each Prize will be mailed to the verified Prize winner at the mailing address provided during winner verification within approximately 4-6 weeks.  Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, intercepted, or any Prize otherwise not received. Sponsor may replace lost, late, intercepted or any Prize otherwise not received at its sole discretion. If required by law, winner(s) will be issued a 1099 tax form for the Prize value.
  7. GENERAL: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes should fraud, virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security, or proper use of the website.  Failure to provide any requested information to verify eligibility, and/or non-compliance with these Official Rules may result in forfeiture of the Prize and an alternate winner may be selected.  Each potential Prize winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability and Publicity Release and, where permitted by law, Publicity Release.

    No cash equivalents, substitutions or transfer of the Prize are permitted.  If a Prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute Prize with another prize of equal or greater value.  Acceptance of a Prize shall be construed as and signify the winner’s agreement and consent to all Official Rules.

    By participating, entrants and winners release and agree to hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities, their respective parent companies, affiliates, directors, employees, officers and agents from any and all liability, injury, loss or damage of any kind, including but not limited to personal injury or death, arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes, creation and use of the Post, or the awarding, receipt, possession, use or misuse of any Prize and/or with respect to participation in any Prize-related activity.  Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in printing, offering, announcement or administration of the Sweepstakes. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.
  8. LIMITATIONS AND RELEASES: Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or invalid entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information or a Prize by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, or any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize.
