Where is the IKEA Museum located?
The IKEA Museum opened on June 30, 2016, in Älmhult. The world's only IKEA Museum!
A bit away from Ingvar Kamprad's home region Agunnaryd lies Älmhult. In Älmhult, IKEA's history began, and in 1958, the first IKEA store opened. In the same premises from 1958, you can visit our main exhibitions and temporary exhibitions about the past, present, and future in design, innovation, and life at home. For those who cannot make it to Ikeagatan 5 in Älmhult, the IKEA Museum can also be explored online.
If this sounds interesting, you can read more on the IKEA Museum's website.
