Can extractor hoods from IKEA be installed with charcoal filters?
Yes, all our extractor hoods can be used together with charcoal filters.
Choosing a fan with charcoal filters, recirculation mode, can have a lot of advantages as the placement of the extractor hood becomes much more flexible when we don´t need to think about a ventilation duct.
For larger spaces or an open floor plan, we recommend that you choose a fan with a high capacity even in recirculation mode.
Remember that you must always check what is approved to use with your landlord or housing association if you live in an apartment building.
