How do I clean my oven door?
To keep your oven clean and free from burnt fat and food residues, we recommend cleaning the oven and oven door regularly. Check out our guide on how to clean most common oven doors.
This is how to clean the oven door:
Please note that the number of glass panels in the oven door may vary between 2-4 depending on the model.
- Start by removing the oven door: open the door, fold the hooks on each side towards the door as the arrow shows, and lift off the door by lifting it upwards and outwards.
- The way the glass is mounted can vary between different models, hence there are two different methods for removing the glass.
A: Unscrew the two screws at the bottom of the door. Then, carefully pry apart the door with a screwdriver.
B: Remove the trim at the top of the glass by pressing in the trim from the left and right sides and sliding it upwards. - Gently separate the glass panels and pull out each piece of glass. The glass may be tightly stuck together due to the silicone seals. Note! The glass is only slid into the upper handle trim.
- Use a damp microfiber cloth and a mixture of baking soda and water to clean the glass. Spread the mixture over the dirty glass panels and let it sit for 45-60 minutes. Clean the glass panels with the microfiber cloth and then wipe them dry with a clean cloth.
- Reassemble the door in the reverse order.
