How do I reset my smart system?
If you move, want to disconnect the device, or it stops responding, you can factory reset the driver, device, or remote control.
In the IKEA home smart app, you have the option to "Remove the hub", which you can use to delete all your personal settings from the system and return to factory settings. If you install your system in your new home without clearing all settings, your products will still be connected.
Once everything is restored, you can place your devices in the new home, install and open the IKEA Home smart app, re-pair the DIRIGERA hub, and then add lights, drivers, remote controls and other products again.
- To reset the TRÅDFRI driver, take a pin, paper clip or similar and find the little button marked "RESET" on the driver.
Press and hold the button gently with light pressure and remain until the status lights turn off. - To factory reset a TRÅDFRI light source, turn the main switch on and off six times at a steady pace. Once you have done this, the light will flash to confirm that the reset was successful.
- To factory reset the TRÅDFRI remote control, press the pairing button four times within five seconds. This is the reset method for a remote control, wireless dimmer, and motion sensor.
