Can I keep my TRÅDFRI gateway, or do I need to switch to the DIRIGERA hub?
It’s not necessary to switch from your TRÅDFRI gateway for everything to keep working. But with the DIRIGERA hub, you get a faster and smoother experience thanks to a new and improved app, more digital features, and greater capacity for connecting even more smart products.

No. Since your smart home set-up with TRÅDFRI gateway is stored locally only, and since the app connected to DIRIGERA hub comes with new digital features, you will need to re-create scenes after pairing your smart products.
