What is the difference between TRÅDFRI gateway and DIRIGERA hub?
The DIRIGERA hub has a new and improved app with new digital features. It also has an increased memory capacity, which means you can connect more smart products than before, for a faster and better experience.
Below you'll find what distinguishes our DIRIGERA hub from our predecessor TRÅDFRI Gateway.
- The DIRIGERA hub offers a new and improved app that allows you to create more complex and flexible scenes, features, and automations.
- Installation has been made easier because DIRIGERA doesn't require you to first connect a remote control to add a light source or other product.
- DIRIGERA hub supports controlling older products and an increased memory capacity that provides a faster experience and the ability to connect more smart products than before.
- DIRIGERA has a new "Control Anywhere" feature that allows you to access the app, even outside your home Wi-Fi.
- You now have the ability to control two DIRIGERA hubs from the same app. Which previously was not possible with TRÅDFRI gateway.
- The hub offers the ability to connect third-party platforms via in-app Matter integrations, such as Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Google Nest.
With the DIRIGERA hub, you have everything you need for tomorrow's smart products.
