I had a power outage and now my smart lighting doesn't work, what do I do?

In the event of problems with the lighting after a power failure, the lighting may lose connection with the remote control. Then you need to reconnect the lighting with the remote control. Depending on the remote control and lighting you have, the pairing is done in different ways, enlarge this answer to read more.

TRÅDFRI REMOTE CONTROL WITH OMLOPP, STRÖMLINJE, IRSTA, MITTLED

  1. If you have the FÖRNIMMA connection cord with an on/off button, make sure it is on.
    Note that if you don't have the power button, you can ignore this step.
  2. Make sure the remote has a battery.
  3. On the driver there is a symbol for pairing, as well as by the battery on the TRÅDFRI remote control. Hold the remote control within 5 cm of the pairing symbol on the driver. Press and hold the button on the remote control for at least 10 seconds. A red light comes on on the driver and the light flashes – then the pairing is complete.
Repeat this for each driver (power supply) you have. It may take a few clicks on the remote control for the lights to react properly.

ANSLUTA REMOTE CONTROL WITH UTRUSTA

  1. Insert batteries into the remote control. When you press the button, a small light should be on.
  2. Start with the left fixture – this is the one that has power. Press the small button until a light comes on.
  3. Press and hold the button on the remote control until the light flashes. Now the fixture is connected.
  4. Continue to the next fixture and do the same. Once everyone is connected, the remote should work. It may take a few clicks before everything responds as it should.

ANSLUTA remote control with OMLOPP or FÖRBÄTTRA

  1. On ANSLUTA, check that the power button on the cord is on.
  2. Make sure the remote has a battery. When you press the button in the middle, a small light should be on.
  3. Press the button on the transformer until a small light comes on. Then press and hold the button on the remote control until the light flashes and the pairing is complete.
Repeat this for each transformer in the system. It may take a few clicks for everything to work properly.
