How large cash purchases can be made at IKEA stores?
The maximum amount for cash purchases at an IKEA store in Sweden is 10,000 SEK or 1000 EUR per customer.
The Swedish Trade Federation has issued recommendations to, among other things, prevent money laundering, which came into force on 1 September 2023. This means that IKEA does not accept cash purchases larger than 10,000 SEK or 1000 EUR.
