How do I remove the MAXIMERA and EXCEPTIONELL drawers from the METOD frame?
Start by pulling the drawer all the way out on the runners. Firmly grasp the bottom edge of the drawer front (not the sides where the runners are) and lift the drawer upwards and towards you, releasing it from the runners. Then lower the drawer and pull it forward to remove it from the frame.
Instructions for removing the drawer from the frame are also described at the end of the drawer's assembly instructions. If you no longer have your assembly instructions, you can find them on our website by searching for the drawer's name or article number in the search field at the top. Click on 'Product details' and then 'Assembly and Documents' to find the assembly instructions.

When assembling your MAXIMERA drawer, in the hole pattern instructions we refer to both screw A and B. Screw A is the main screw used when assembling your MAXIMERA drawers but in some cases the drawers are too high or too wide for them to be stable enough on their own. In this case, screw B is used to ensure that the front is firmly in place and that the larger drawers can withstand the increased weight.

Placing a washing machine or tumble dryer on top of an IKEA cabinet might seem like a space-saving solution, but safety is an important consideration. METOD cabinets are not built or tested to support the weight and movement of washing machines or dryers, and there is a risk of damage to the appliance, the cabinet, and the surrounding area. Instead, we recommend using stable platforms or furniture designed to stand around or above the machine.
