What is the maximum weight of METOD frames?
METOD kitchen cabinets meet the EU tests that exist, which means that the frame construction is tested for 168 kg. Please note that this does not mean that a wall cabinet can be hung on the wall and loaded with 168 kg, but it is the construction of the frame that has been tested to cope with the weight.
- METHOD legs can handle a weight of 125 kg per leg
- UTRUSTA shelves can handle between 10-20 kg depending on dimensions
- There is no pronounced maximum weight for the top or bottom plate in the METOD frame
- It is the same density and durability of the parts for the high cabinets for the fridge/freezer as the regular frames
