Why can't I order half a portion in the restaurant?
It is no longer possible to buy half portions, as this means that the other half risks becoming food waste if it is not sold within the time we can still guarantee that the dish is of good quality.
As part of our sustainability strategy at IKEA, reducing food waste is an important part of our business. As of 1 September 2020, we will only serve adult portions and a wide range of children's portions in our restaurants.
