What is included in IKEA kitchen installation?
Our kitchen installation service includes the assembly of cabinets and doors, fitting of worktops, installation of appliances and sinks, as well as lighting and other finishing details — providing a complete installation solution.
- Cabinets & frames
- Installation and assembly of all IKEA frames.
- Assembly of all knobs, handles, doors, drawers and fronts.
- Worktops
- Cutting and fitting of IKEA custom-made worktops (stone, quartz composite and ceramic worktops re not included in this service, as these are installed by a separate service partner coordinated as part of your order).
- Creating cut-outs for hobs and sinks.
- Appliances, sinks and taps
- Installation of IKEA appliances.
- Installation of IKEA sink and taps.
- Connection of the water trap to the existing pipe.
- Lighting and finishing
- Installation of IKEA lighting, including cable routing (applies only to models with a plug).
- Sealing of all joints and cut-outs.
- Clean-up
After installation, the installer will clean up and remove packaging.
- Preparation and removal work:
- Measurement (This is a separate service that you can choose to add).
- Removal and disposal of your old kitchen.
- Work on the basic structure of the space, such as moving walls, windows or doorways.
- Connection of utilities
- Electrical work: This includes creating new outlets, wiring appliances, or other work on your fuse panel. This must be performed by a qualified electrician.
- Plumbing work: Any work other than connecting the tap water trap to existing, suitable plumbing within X meters is excluded. This includes moving pipes or installing new water pipes.
- Decorative & custom work
- Tiling, plastering, painting or flooring.
- Installation of appliances that are not supplied by IKEA.
- Any custom modifications to IKEA cabinets.
- Service limitations
- The service does not only cover the installation of a countertop, sink or appliance.
