Are shelves included if I buy METOD frames?
In most cases, shelves are not included with our METOD frames. The shelves are called UTRUSTA and are sold separately so you can easily customize your frame to suit your needs. There are a few METOD cabinets where shelves are included.
METOD cabinets where shelves are included:
- METOD Wall Cabinet frame 20x37x80: Two shelves included.
- METOD High Cabinet frame (60 and 37 cm depth): Includes one reinforced shelf with a maximum load of 75 kg.
- METOD High Cabinet frame for Oven/Fridge: Includes one reinforced shelf with rails and ventilation, with a maximum load of 150 kg, and one reinforced shelf with ventilation, with a maximum load of 75 kg.
- METOD High Cabinet 140 cm: Includes one reinforced shelf with rails and ventilation, with a maximum load of 150 kg.

METOD kitchen cabinets meet the EU tests that exist, which means that the frame construction is tested for 168 kg. Please note that this does not mean that a wall cabinet can be hung on the wall and loaded with 168 kg, but it is the construction of the frame that has been tested to cope with the weight.
