How do I book a kitchen installation service?

A kitchen installation order through IKEA is made in connection with the purchase of a kitchen and consists of two steps. The first step is that we book an inspection for 995kr and send the kitchen design to our service partner, who checks that the design corresponds with the room and makes an estimate based of the work you want to have carried out. After the inspection, you receive a quotation directly from the servicepartner. If you choose to proceed with them, you inform your salesperson when you order the kitchen and you will get the cost of the inspection back. If you have already purchased a kitchen, you will need to contact a tradesperson outside of IKEA on your own.

A kitchen installation through IKEA is beneficial in many ways. You get access to tradespeople who are very familiar with our products, and since a inspection is also carried out, you get an extra pair of eyes to check that your dream kitchen can be installed in the room you have. Sometimes valuable adjustments are identified that could otherwise have made the installation or later use more difficult if discovered after ordering.
Once you have completed the inspection and approved the quotation, your kitchen sales representative will book the installation as part of the order. The invoice for the installation is handled directly by the partner, so IKEA never takes part in or receives information about the price of the installation.
If you have already purchased a kitchen through us or another supplier, you will need to contact a tradesperson directly, as our partnership applies only in connection with planning and ordering the kitchen.
