Can I combine the new and the old ceiling fittings for the VIDGA curtain rail system?

The new ceiling fitting for the VIDGA curtain rail system is smaller than the previous one, which means that the rail ends up closer to the ceiling. It is therefore not possible to combine the older ceiling fittings with the new ones, all ceiling fittings need to be replaced with the new ones in order for the rail to end up at the same height.

The VIDGA curtain rail system was updated in 2021 and now the VIDGA ceiling bracket comes with the curtain rail instead of being sold separately. 
VIDGA glide and hook were also updated in connection with the range change, but still work with the older VIDGA curtain rail system.
To extend the life of your existing VIDGA system, you can order the new ceiling fittings through our spare parts form. The spare part numbers for the VIDGA single-track rail ceiling fittings are 10067913 (white) and 10079138 (grey) and the spare part numbers for the VIDGA three-track rail ceiling fittings are 10067893 (white) and 10078137 (grey).
