Can I complement my old BESTÅ countertop with the new one?
In October 2022, the BESTÅ countertops were updated, including a color change for the white countertops and a reduction in thickness by 1mm. Since both the thickness and color have changed, it is not recommended to combine the new and old countertops.
In October 2022, our BESTÅ countertops underwent an update. The new countertops are now 1mm thinner than the previous ones (5mm instead of 6mm) and have a lower carbon footprint. The white glass countertops now feature a clearer glass with a slight green tint, meaning they are not as white as before, while the black countertop retains the same color. Since both thickness and color have changed, it is not recommended to combine the new and old countertops, as this may affect the appearance and fit between the parts.
