Using as a foyer shoe bench—a little tall with the legs, but recommend!DraganI needed a nicer looking foyer shoe bench for my apartment and this fit nicely. The top of the piece is a little tall for the purpose but I would recommend. It looks nice and is very sturdy. I noted in a previous kallax review that the current version of Kallax is lighter in weight than previous versions (I have used some version of this useful piece numerous times in the past) which makes it easier to put together and move, but might make someone concerned it is not as tough as previous versions. This does not seem to be the case so far! The only difficulty we had was when putting the case together we installed the end pieces completely. To utilize the legs, we had to remove the four bottom bolts to accommodate the leg attachment mechanism. I am not sure how to show that hint in the instructions, but know if you have the same set up as pictured that you should not screw in the bottom bolts the whole way while putting the top together—wait to put the connector pieces in place for the ‘leg section’, then put the bolts in the whole way. I recommend!!
