Fried salmon with lentil

IKEA ingredients

Salmon fillet, frozen ASC, 500g

Lemon and dill sauce, 250g

Organic Rapeseed Oil, Butter Flavour 500ml

For this recipe, you will need:

  • 4 IKEA salmon fillet
  • 1 small onion or shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup (200g) lentils
  • 3 cups (720ml) water
  • 1 packet IKEA lemon dill sauce 
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley

Step 1

Start by heating some oil in a pan

Step 2

Sprinkle salt on the salmon fillets, then fry the fillets until they turn brown

Step 3

In the same pan, fry onions and garlic until brown.


Step 4

Then add lentils and sprinkle some pepper.

Step 5

Add some water, then cover and cook for 30 minutes.

Step 6

Once the lentils are cooked, sprinkle some more salt into the pan. Then add the lemon dill sauce, parsley, some more pepper and let it simmer for 5 minutes.


Step 7

Once the sauce is thick, turn off the heat and add the salmon fillets to the sauce.

Step 8

Drizzle some pepper and parsley and serve.
